I made a baby shoe box card for big brother so of course shall his little sister have one too.

Welcome to the world Zelda!

Började med att göra lådan. CS Berry Blush, Reprint.

I mitt äldre inlägg här finns beskrivningen hur man gör ett sånt här kort.

Started with making the box. CS Berry Blush, Paper Accent.

In my older post here you can find the description how to make the card.

Detta är lådan utan hålet som kommer att bli där mitt finger är.

This is the box without the hole which will be where my finger is.

Hålet utskuret med skalpell: 1,5 cm runt om. Hittade ett gulligt DP. Märke okänt.

Skar ut paneler och distressade kanterna och limmade fast innan jag limmade ihop lådan.

Jag satte alla kanter under eller bakom så man inte ser dem.

Vill att det ska se helt och prydligt ut i skarvarna .Och ja den bruna DPn på botten (märke okänt) limmade jag på plats innan jag förslöt lådan.

Samma gulliga Uggle-DP till framsidan också.

Hole cut out with scalpel: 1,5 cm all around. Found a cute DP. Brand unknown.

Cut out panels and distressed the edges before gluing them on and after that gluing the box together.

I put all the edges underneath or behind so you can´t see them.

Want it to look whole and clean around the joints. And yes the brown DP on the bottom (unknown brand) I glued on its place before sealing the box.

Same cute Owl DP for the front too.

Made the details for the inside. The babies, letters and numbers.

Dags för babyskorna. Jag skapade 3 par!  Första paret för små i mitt tycke.

Andra paret- större- men fel färg och den ena lite sned. Tredje paret- ännu större men perfekta.

CS Bitter Chocolate Reprint.

Fjärilarna samma CS som kortbasen. Distressade kanter med Walnut Stain.  Några söta stresstenar och pärla för dekoration.

Time for the baby shoes. I did make 3 pairs!  First pair too small for my liking.

Second pair - bigger- but wrong colour and one was a bit crocked.  Third pair a bit more bigger but perfect. CS Bitter Chocolate Paper Accent.

Butterflies same CS as card base. Distressed edges with Walnut Stain. A few cute rhinestones and a pearl for decoration.

Så detta är resultatet på insidan.

Text handskriven. Gjorde en mörkbrun ram av samma CS som skorna.

Hjärtan stämplade med en hjärtutstansning gjord med ugglestansen från Stampin Up!

Distress Rangers Spun Sugar och Walnut Stain. Några utstansade hjärtan limmade på också som dekoration.

Ännu en söt liten minijording har har anlänt till världen och jag fick äran att skapa ett babyskolådkort till honom.

Another sweet little mini earthling has arrived to this world and I got the honor to make a baby shoe box card for him.

Jag har några år tidigare gjort ett  babyskolådkort i ljusblått till beställarens första barnbarn som också blev en pojke så nu ville jag göra den helt annorlunda.
CS Mörkblå Bazzill, tror den heter Admiral.

På de 3 bilderna nedan kan ni se måtten och delarna till kortbasen.

I have a few years ago made another baby shoe box card in light blue to the first grandson of the woman ho ordered this card so I wanted it to be totally different.
CS Dark blue from Bazzill, think it´s called Admiral.

On the 3 pictures below you can se the measurments and the pieces for the card base.

Här nedan på dessa 2 bilder kan ni se hur jag klippt och vikt lådan, man vill ha sidorna hela och fina för dom kommer att synas.

fliken som jag håller mina fingrar på (bild 1) kan du limma på utsidan av lådans botten för botten limmas sedan på kortbasen, MEN innan du limmar ihop lådan helt  limma dit dekorationen på insidans lådbotten. Lättare att göra före än efter.

Here on this next 2 pictures  below you can se how I cut and folded the box, you want to have smooth clean sides cause they will be displayed.

The flap I´m holding my fingers on (pic 1) you can glue on the outside of the bottom of the box cause the bottom will be glued on to the card base, BUT before gluing the box together glue the decoration on the bottom inside the box. Easier to do it before than after.

Detta är vad jag använde och Promarkerpennan amber är huvudtemafärgen på flera detaljerna i kortet.

This I what I used and the Promarker pen Amber colour is the main theme colour on many details throughout the card. Amber colour on  CS Buttercup from Paper Accents.

Jag ritade också en liten pojke, färglagd med Promarkers, limmad på en cirkel, samma amberfärg.

Och så här såg kortet ut inuti när det var klar. Svarta texten handskriven av mig.

Bokstäverna utstansade med Cuttlebug "Olivia" på vibrant blue CS från Reprint, limmade på samma Amber-färglagda CS.

på utsidan stämplade jag med en inkidostämpel på CS Vibrant blue och embossade med embossingpulvret Jeans från Reprint.

On the outside I used a stamp from Inkido on vibrant blue CS and embossed with embossing powder called Jeans from Reprint. glued on a amber circle.

DPn på utsidan och på flikarna på insidan är "Monster Couples" från Panduro, det är glittrigt från början, inte lagt på något.

Det orangea bandet passade perfekt.

The orange ribbon was a perfect match.

Min faster fyller 66 år imorgon så jag skapade detta  box-/låd-/ram-kort till henne.

My aunt is turning 66 years old tomorrow so I created this shadow box / frame card for her.

The text says: Age is just a number. It is LIFE that counts. Everything that is important and fun has it given places during time. You should live here and now".

Så hur gjorde jag?
Kortbasen är 13*13cm, använde vanligt vit CS. Sidorna (lådans djup) är 1 cm och ramen på framsidan är också 1 cm runtom.

So how did i made it?
Well the card base is 13*13 cm, used plain white CS. The sides (the depth of the box)  are 1cm wide and the frame on the front is also 1cm wide all around.

Oftast gör man bara 2 kanter att limma fast på kortbasen men jag göra alla fyra för det ser mer snyggt ut.

Usually you only have two sides to glue on to the card base but I make all four sides cause it looks more proper.

                           

Av de beigea CS Quicksand från Reprint gjorde jag fyra stycken 1*13cm bitar, distressade med Rangers Frayed Burlap och limmade fast runt om på lådkortets kanter.

Of the beige CS Quicksand from Reprint/Paper Accents I made four 1*13cm stripes, distressed with Rangers Frayed Burlap and glued them on all four sides on the box card.

Jag använde DP Collectable, My mind´s Eye "You are" till ramen. Jag ville att den skulle täcka den vita CS ramen så jag gjorde den 1,2cm bred (den vita DP ramen är 1cm som jag skrev tidigare). Hela pappersbiten är 13*13cm. Distressad med Frayed Burlap.

Sen skapade jag blommorna. Så här ser dom ut i början. DPn är French Vanilla från Reprint.
När du rullar ihop dem är det stor risk att du behöver justera med saxen, inget konstigt alls, nöden har ingen lag ;)
Jag limmar bit för bit så de ska hålla formen. ibland får man klippa av en bit och limma på den igen för att få en finare form.

Hur du än gör det är det rätt, det finns inga fel i scrapbooking.

Then I made the flowers. This is how they look from the start. DP is French Vanilla from Reprint /Paper Accents.
When you roll them you may need to do some adjusting with scissors, nothing strange about that, just need must ;)
I glue the bit by bit so they will hold their form. sometimes you need to cut of a bit and reglue it to get a better shape.

How ever you do it is the right way to do it, there is no wrongs in scrapooking.

Distressade dom med Spun sugar, Ranger. Jag använde inte alla.

Jag ville ha kvistar och blad i mjuk rosa och "klar"grönt för att få lite vårkänsla.
Kvistarna stansade ut ur CS Berry blush och löven ur CS Lily pond båda från Reprint.
Båda stansarna är från Martha Stewart.
Kvistarna fick lite Wink of Stella clear 999 för glittereffekt.

I wanted twigs and leaves in a soft pink and "brighter" green to give a spring feeling.
Twigs was punched out of CS Berry Blush and leaves CS Lily pond, both from Reprint/Paper accents. Both punches is from Martha Stewart.

The twigs got some Wink of Stella clear 999 for glitter effect.

Jag målade på lite Glossy Accent från Ranger på bladen för att de skulle bli lite glansiga.

I painted on some  Glossy Accent from Ranger on the leaves so they would be a bit shiny.

Här kan ni se att jag har, efter jag limmat allt på plats, använt lite Glossy Accent även på blommorna och med 3D Pearl affect, Dovecraft, på bladen skapade jag vattendroppar.

texten är handgjord på vit CS som först distressats med Spun Sugar och sen med Frayed burlap.
Limmad på samma DP som sitter på framsidan men på DPns andra sida och den i sin tur på en bit CS Quicksand (samma som kortets sidor och distressad också med Frayed Burlap).

Here you can see that I have, after I glued them in place, used some Glossy Accents on the flowers too and had 3D Pearl Effects, Dovecraft, on the leaves to create water drops.

The text is handwritten on white CS, distressed first with Spun Sugar and the Frayed Burlap.
Glued on same DP as the frame just the opposite side of it and on a piece of CS Quicksand (same as the box card sides are, also distressed with Frayed Burlap).

Och på insidan är texten också handgjord och kanterna är distressade likadant som texten på framsidan.
Dekorerade med några blad till och med samma pärla som de på framsidan.

And inside the text is also handmade and  the edged distressed the same as the text piece on the front.
I decorated with some more leaves and same sort of pearls as on the front.
