Luscious lilies on a birthday card.

Got free hands to create and the receiver to the birthday card loves lilies and rich colours so I knew what I would create.

Panel 14,5 cm * 14,5 cm CS French Vanilla, också Bazzill.

DP 14cm * 14 cm okänt märke från litet scrapbooking pappersblock.

 My Groke.

Ett födelsedagskort med tema Mumin till en älskad unge.

A Moomin themed birthday card to a beloved youngster.




Jag började med att rita. Jag skissade Mårran och Lilla My.
Tror Lilla My är ungefär 7- 8 cm hög.

I started with the drawing. I sketched The Groke and Little My.
Think little My is about 7- 8 cm high.

Sen använde jag mina akvareller. Gjorde det i lager. Vått på vått.

Först bakgrunden och sen Mårran. Samma med Lilla My. Lät det torka en stund mellan lagren.

Then I used my watercolours. Did it in layers. Wet on wet.

First background and then the Groke. Same with Little My.  Let it dry for a while between layers.

Had to cut the Groke painting a bit to fit onto the String of Pearls DP panel.

Textpanelernas storlek 13 cm * 17 cm. Text handskriven och egen design. Färglade namnet och skar ut Lilla My och limmad henne på plats.

One cool giraffe on a birthday card for a member of my family.

Kortbas 10,5 cm *  20 cm CS Brandy Wine, Reprint.

Panel 9,5 cm* 19 cm CS i mörkgrönt, okänt märke.

Stripe Panel 5 cm * 19 cm DP namn okänt men jag tror det är från Panduro.

Ritade och färglade giraffen.

Sketch and coloured the giraffe.

Använde svart Copicpenna för att färglägga runt giraffen innan jag skar ut den.

Used black Copic pen to colour around the giraffe before cutting it put.

Skapade den lilla skylten till framsidan och satte sen ihop allt.

Den gröna paneldelen är 4 mm större än textdelen.

Minns inte riktigt exakt storlekarna men typ 2,8 cm * 6,6 cm och den gröna 4 mm större dvs 3,2 cm * 7 cm.

Made the little sign for the front and the put it all together.
The green panel piece is 4 mm bigger than the text piece.

Dont remember exactly the sizes of the sign but about 2,8 cm * 6,6 cm and the green 4 mm bigger so 3,2 cm * 7 cm.

Text inuti är min design och handskriven. Färglade bokstäverna med samma färger som på hatten och rosetten på giraffen ( se bild ovan med lilla skylten).

 Skapade detaljerna - hattarna. Samma färger.
