Bluebells.

När man får fria händer att skapa ett födelsedagskort till en person man skapat flera kort till tidigare och det ett tips på möjligt tema var blommor då visste jag att jag skulle göra blåklockor i akvarell.

When you have free hands to create a birthday card to a person you´ve done several cards before and one tip for possible theme was flowers I knew I would do bluebells in aquarelle.

Började med att skära akvarellpapper, 300g, i storlek 10 cm * 19,3 cm.

Använde lila maskeringstejp, låghäftande, perfekt till akvarellmålning.

Tejpade 1 cm in runtom så det bildade en passepartout.

Sen ritade jag blåklockorna.

Started with cutting a aquarelle paper, 300g, in size 10 cm * 19,3 cm.

Used lavender masking tape, low tack, perfect for aquarelle painting.

Placed the masking tape 1 cm in around to make a passepartout.

Then I drew the bluebells.

Vått i vått först. Jag gjorde första lagret i blått med en hint av lila och lät det torka.

Nästa dag lade jag ett nytt lager vått i vått med mer rosalila ton för att mjuka upp det.

Sen la jag första lagret på blåklockornas kronblad.

Wet on wet first. I did the first layer in a blue with a touch of lilac tone and let it dry.

The next day I added a new layer wet on wet with a rosy lilac tone to soften it.

Then I put the first layer on the bluebell petals.

Några lager senare på blåklockorna, stjälk och bladen.

Slutresultatet. Tog bort maskeringstejpen. Det hade blött in i övre hörnet men jag ser inte det som ett problem, för mig visar det att det är handgjort.

End result. Took of the masking tape. It had bleed in the upper corner but I don´t see it as a problem, for me it shows that it is handmade.

Limmade akvarellmålningen på kortbasen. Ville hålla det fint och enkelt -stilrent.

Stansade ut två cirklar och använde det som stencil för att göra bubbel-detaljerna.

Punched out cicles on CS and used is as a stencil to make bubble - details.

 The New Plumber.

Studentkort med rörmokare tema. Killen har studerat på VVS programmet.

Graduation card with plumber theme. The guy studied the Water/ Heat/ Sanitation program.

Details for the front. I drew the plumber and the pipes separately cause i wanted more 3D feeling.

Färgerna till rörmokaren. Började med tänderna och studentmössan. 

Sen ansiktet och kläderna innan jag skar ut den.

The colours for the plumber. Started with teeth and the graduation cap.

Then the face and clothes before cutting it out.

Färglade, skar ut, limmade rören på blå CS från Reprint. Storlek 14,5 cm * 14,5 cm.

Stansade ut små cirklar av vit slät CS som färglades med promarkerpenna Gold och använde dem som detaljer.

Coloured, cut out, glued the pipes on blue CS from Paper Accent. Size 14,5 cm  * 14,5 cm. 

Punched out from plain white CS smaller circles and coloured with Promarker pen Gold and used them as details.

Skylten. Vit slät CS, handskrev ordet STUDENT.

Ja jag gjorde om flera gånger innan jag fick den rätt som ni kan se på fotot med högen av flera ritade skiftnycklar.

Använde samma CS som kortbasen till att skapa en inramning till den. Rörmokaren var det sista att bli fastlimmad.

The sign. White plain CS, hand wrote the word STUDENT.

Yes I redid it several times before I got it right as you can see the photo of the pile of several drawn wrenches.

Used Same CS as the card base to make a frame for it. The plumber was the last one to be glued.

Ljuvliga liljor på ett födelsedagskort.

Fick fria händer att skapa och mottagaren till födelsedagskortet älskar liljor och mustiga färger så jag visste vad jag skulle skapa.
