Trollslända - Dragonfly.

Ibland vet man vad man vill men har inte en tydlig vision.

Det är då man går igenom alla scrapbookinggrejer och hittar saker som "talar" till dig.

Och det här är mitt resultat. En födelsedags-tag (etikett) till en vän.

Sometimes you know what you want but don´t have a clear vision.

That´s when you go through all your scrapbooking stuff and find things that "speaks" to you.

And this is my end result. A birthday tag for a friend.

Etikettens basmått 8,7cm *13,7cm CS Aquarium from Core´dinations.

DP okänd, storlek 8,4*13,4cm. Jag valde den mest för färgen.

Den rosa panelen är till baksidan CS Nude från Reprint.

Size 8,4*13,4cm.

(Varför dom konstiga måtten? Mitt fel! Jag skar lite fel och fick korrigera det.)

The base measurements of the tag 8,7cm *13,7cm CS Aquarium from Core´dinations.

Kanterna på etikettens basdel och lite här och där på DP -panel distressades grovt med Rangers oxide.

The edges of the tag base and  here and there on DP panel was distressed roughly with Rangers oxide.

Sen gjorde jag stämplingen och embossningen på DP-panelbiten.

Gav den lite guldskimmer.

Then I did the stamping and embossing on the DP panel piece.

Gave it a bit of  gold shimmer.

Lite svart på själva kanterna.

Maskrosor, skar ut och använde distress Black Soot för att tona ner den rosa CS

( samma som panelen på baksidan).

Details for the front.

Dandelions, cut out ad used distress Black Soot to tone the pink CS down

( same CS as the panel on the back).

Limmade DPn på basen och därefter Maskrosorna.

Gjorde ett hål upptill och en ram till hålet. tycker det ser mer prydligt ut.

Glued the DP on the base and the Dandeolions.

Made the hole on top and made a frame for the hole. I think it looks more proper.

Trollslända. Den stora till framsidan och den minsta bak, kommer sen.

Dragonfly. The big for the front, the smallest on the back, you´ll see later.

Stämplade på slät vit CS, embossade i guld och skar ut den.

Sen embossade jag ytterligare med lite holographic pulver på vingarna.

Stamped on plain white CS, embossed in gold and cut it out. 

And then I embossed it further with some Holographic powder on the wings.

Black Soot på baksidan innan jag limmade några små delar av CS (tre lager) så den skulle poppa ut från etiketten (3D känsla).

Distressade också trollsländan så det vita skulle var mindre skarpt.

Lite olika band och en charm för att färdigställa det.

Black Soot on the back before I glued on a few pieces of CS ( 3 layers) so it would pop out from the

tag (3D feeling).

Also distressed a bit on the dragonfly to make the white less sharp.

A few different ribbons and a charm to finish it.

Celine Dion

Celine Dion.

En god vän beställde ett kort till sin 40 årsdag och hennes absoluta största favoritartist i hela världen är Celine Dion så jag använde det som tema.

A dear friend order a birthday card for her 40th birthday and her all time favourite artist in the whole world is Celine Dion so I used that as a theme for the card.

Jag valde att göra ett så kallat interlocking Gate folded kort - grindkort med cirklar som låser ihop när man stänger det.
Kortbas CS Petalsoft från Bazzill. Ramarna ( 4 delarna) CS Dusk från Reprint.

I choose to make a interlocking Gate folded card with circles that locks when you close the card.

Skapade cirkellåset på framsidan. Några lager för stabilitet och för att passa färgvist.
Det gråbrunaktiga ( CS Dusk) var det första lagret, få på rätt plats.

Making the circle lock on the front. Several layers for stability and  to match colourwise.
The grey brownish  CS Dusk) is layer one, getting it in the right place.

Distressed the DP circle.

Gjorde  två par av siffrorna för att få en skuggeffekt. Embossade rosa siffrorna samt små och stora stjärnor. Färglade små stjärnor i två olika rosa nyanser.

Dekorerade cirkeln med strasstenar och stjärnor för lite glamour.

Made two pair of number to get the shading effect. Embossed pink numbers and small and big stars. Coloured small stars in two different pink colours.

Decorated the circle with rhinestones and stars to get som glamour.

Nästa steg var insidan där den största stjärnan är. Jag menar Celine så klart.

Jag ritade bilden och färglade och skar ut den.

Next up is the inside where the biggest star is. I´m talking about Celine of course.

Made the drawing and coloured it and cut it out.

Skapade panelerna med texterna och distressade kanterna. Panelrna limmade på rambitarna.

Made the panels for the text and distressed the edges. Panels glued ont the frame pieces.

Och resultatet av insidan. Celine limmad på samma CS som textpanelerna, CS Dusk.

Började med att göra lådan. CS Berry Blush, Reprint.

Started with making the box. CS Berry Blush, Paper Accent.

Detta är lådan utan hålet som kommer att bli där mitt finger är.

This is the box without the hole which will be where my finger is.

Hålet utskuret med skalpell: 1,5 cm runt om. Hittade ett gulligt DP. Märke okänt.

Skar ut paneler och distressade kanterna och limmade fast innan jag limmade ihop lådan.

Jag satte alla kanter under eller bakom så man inte ser dem.

Vill att det ska se helt och prydligt ut i skarvarna .Och ja den bruna DPn på botten (märke okänt) limmade jag på plats innan jag förslöt lådan.

Samma gulliga Uggle-DP till framsidan också.

Hole cut out with scalpel: 1,5 cm all around. Found a cute DP. Brand unknown.

Cut out panels and distressed the edges before gluing them on and after that gluing the box together.

I put all the edges underneath or behind so you can´t see them.

Want it to look whole and clean around the joints. And yes the brown DP on the bottom (unknown brand) I glued on its place before sealing the box.

Same cute Owl DP for the front too.

Dags för babyskorna. Jag skapade 3 par!  Första paret för små i mitt tycke.

Andra paret- större- men fel färg och den ena lite sned. Tredje paret- ännu större men perfekta.

Fjärilarna samma CS som kortbasen. Distressade kanter med Walnut Stain.  Några söta stresstenar och pärla för dekoration.

Time for the baby shoes. I did make 3 pairs!  First pair too small for my liking.

Second pair - bigger- but wrong colour and one was a bit crocked.  Third pair a bit more bigger but perfect. CS Bitter Chocolate Paper Accent.

Butterflies same CS as card base. Distressed edges with Walnut Stain. A few cute rhinestones and a pearl for decoration.

Distress Rangers Spun Sugar och Walnut Stain. Några utstansade hjärtan limmade på också som dekoration.
