When the birthday celebrant loves fishing the card theme is set- A pop up box cards with fishes.
Jag började med boxbasen, CS Artic från Bazzill.

I started with the box base, CS Artic from Bazzill.
Hela delen är 30,5 cm lång och 14 cm hög.
Bigade vid flera ställen - hoppas ni förstår mallen - och skar ner 7cm (halvvägs). Bak- och framsidan är 10cm bred, kortsidorna är 5 cm breda.
De sista 0,5 cm är flärpen som du klipper bort övre 7cm på och resten är att limma ihop så det blir en box.
Observera att inte biga (scora) tvärs över baksidan där textdelen ska sitta.

The whole piece is 30,5 cm long and 14 cm high.
Scorde at several places - hope you understand the template - and cut down 7cm (halfway).
Back and front are 10cm wide, short sides are 5cm wide.
The last 0,5cm on one side is the flap that you cut of the top half 7cm and the rest you use to glue it together to make it a box.
Observe do note score across the 10cm back piece where the text panel is glued on.
Jag valde att sätta DP paneler på utsidan av boxen. Det är bara vad jag själv föredrar. Den känns mer klar.

Dessa är bara några av allt sjögräs som jag gjorde.

These are just a few of all the seagrass I made.
Så till insidan ville jag ha vatten- under ytan- bakgrund och det skapade jag med vattenfärger på 300gr akvarellpapper.
Först delen var inte stor nog att täcka bak och flärparna runt om så jag gjorde två delar.
Använde maskeringspenna för att behålla vattenbubblorna vita. Gnuggade bort det senare.

So inside I needed a water - below surface- background and I made it with watercolor on 300gr aquarelle paper.
The first piece wasn´t big enough to the back and front and side flaps så I made two pieces.
Used masking pen to keep the water bubbles white. Rubbed it of later.
Innan jag skar dem för att passa i boxen. Kanterna distressade med Chipped Sapphire.

Jag var mycket nöjd med resultatet.

I was very pleased with the result.
Jag använde en restbit av akvarellen till att skapa en smal panel till insidan, den som en fisk skulle limmas fast på. Jag gjorde detta för att jag ville inte att bakgrunden skulle skymmas av annan CS färgat papper.
Jag färgade den vita baksidan och kanterna på akvarellpappret med en promarker.
Dom två andra panelerna är av samma CS som boxen. Klippte en av dem mer vågig så att jag kunde limma på saker i lite olika höjder.

I used a bit leftover from my watercoloring to make one slim panel for the inside, the one a fish was going to be glued on. I did this because I didn´t want the background to be cut of by another CS colour paper.
I coloured the white back of the water colour paper and edges with a promarker pen.
The two other smal panels is from same CS as the box. Cut one of them a bit more wavy so I could glue on thing in different heights.
Monter ihop delarna. Varje fisk och några av sjögräsen är limmade på mörkblå CS för att bli mer diskret när man ser det från bak/sidan.

Assemble the parts. Every Fish and some of the seagrass is glued on dark blue CS to be more discrete when you see it from the side/back.
Så klart behövde jag mer detaljer till flärparna så jag valde snäckor.
gjorde en skattkarta- ett måste.

Of course I needed more details to the flaps so I chose seashells.
Made a treasure map- thats a must.

En liten detalj på framsidan. Som jag nämt tidigare gillar jag när den känns klar helt runt om.
