Glam Rock.

Det här födelsedagskortet var till en ung kvinna som jag gjort flera kort till under åren.
Kortbeställaren har alltid haft temaönskemål som reflekterar födelsedagsfiraren.

Hon älskar att lyssna på glamrock så det blev årets tema!

 This birthday card was for a young woman I have made several cards to over the years. The card orderer always have a theme request reflecting the birthday celebrator.

She loves to listen to glam rock so thats this years theme!

Kortbas 12cm* 17cm CS Bazzill Red från Bazzill.

Alla kanterna på kortbasen distressade med Black Soot, Ranger.
Jag brukar undvika rött till födelsedagskort i december men rött var perfekt till glamrocktemat.

Panelerna (en på framsidan och två inuti) storlek 11.5cm*16,5cm CS Raven också från Bazzill.

All edges on the card base distressed with Black Soot, Rangers.
I usually avoid red for a birthday card in december but red was perfect for the glam rock theme.

Panels ( one for the front and two for the inside)  size 11,5cm*16,5cm CS Raven also from Bazzill.

Sen dags att rita. Jag googlade och valde en Poison logga till kortet , visste att hon gillade dem och skrev hennes namn på banderollen.

Then time to draw. I googled and chose a Poison logo for the card, knew she like them and wrote her name on the banner.

Och en blå bakgrund innan jag skar ut den.

And a blue background before i cut it out.

Panelen som var bakgrund till kortets framsida distressade jag med blå stämpelfärg för att få det att se ut som ett ljus bakom bilden jag ritat.

The front panel that was going to be the background on the front of the card I distressed it with some blue ink to make it seem like a light behind the drawing I made.

Ramen på framsidan är handgjord.

Jag ville ha nått som var diskret och samtidigt lite tufft.
Ska ut i vit slät cardstock. Lutningen skiljer sig med 1 cm och triangelhålen är 0,5cm breda.

Embossade med svart pulver från Reprint och limmade sedan ihop all delar för göra klart

framsidan på kortet.
Notera att det blåa stämpelfärgen i bakgrunden är innanför ramen.

The frame on the front is handmade.

I wanted something that was subtle and at the same time a bit edgy.
Cut it out from white plain cardstock. The tilt differs with 1cm and the triangle holes are  0,5cm wide.

Embossed with black powder from Reprint and glued all the pieces together to finish

the front of the card. 
Notice that the blue ink in the background is inside the frame.

Ville ha förutom texten också en ritad bild.

Jag valde denna- Mötley Crüe- att rita direkt på samma CS som jag textat texten på.

Jag klarade det på första försöket och gjorde sedan färgläggningen.

On the inside. 

Wanted on top of the text also some drawing.

I choose this -Mötley Crüe- to draw directly on the same piece of CS I had written the text on.

I made it right on the first try and did the colouring.

Distressade kanterna med flera färger för att likna glamglansen från glitter och paljetter.

Distressed the edges around with several colours to resemble the glam shine of glitter and sequins.

Bruna Hästen -The Brown Horse.

Fick en beställning på ett kort med hästtema då kortets mottagare älskar hästar.

Got an order for a card with a horse theme due to the receiver of the card loves horses.

Kanterna distressade med Walnut Stain.
Ville använde höstfärger men inte ha någon halloween känsla eller annat dylikt.

Wanted to use autumn colors but didn´t wanna a halloween feeling or something of that sort.

Jag hade tänkt en annan bakgrund från början, ett designpapper men det såg inte ut som

jag hade visualiserat så istället skapade jag en bakgrund.

Tryckte med träådrings-stämpeln med två olika svarta stämpelfärger på slät vit CS.
Sen rollade med två olika bruna distresser: Gather Twigs och Walnut Stain.

Skar den till rätt storlek 11,5cm*17cm och distressade kanterna.

I had in mind a different background, a design paper but it didn´t look as I visualized it

so instead I created a background.

Stamped with the Wood grain stamp using two sorts of black inks on plain white CS.
Then rolled on two different brown distress inks: Gather Twigs and Walnut Stain.

Cut it out to right size 11.5cm*17cm and distressed the edges.

Ritade hästen.

Sen manen - de 2 övre Promarkerpennorna.
Och sen hovarna- de 2 nedre pennorna.

Then the mane - the 2 upper Promarker pens.
And the hooves- the 2 lower pens.

Svart runt om innan jag skar ut den.

En oval av Beige Bazzill Bling CS för att gå hästen att synas mer. 

Kanterna också distressade. Lite diskret dekoration.

Använde utstansningen som en stencil att stämpla lite löv.

Pawsome Birthday.

 Skapade ett födelsedagskort till min nära kära vän i England.
Temabild jag valde till kortet blev en Schnauzer då hon har en.

Made a birthday card for my dear close friend in England. 

The theme picture I chose for the card was a Schnauzer cause she has one.

Började med att rita Schnauzern och det var inte lätt.
Jag ritade två olika bilder som jag direkt kastade.
Sen gjorde jag ytterligare 2 nya som jag färglade innan jag slängde dom med.
Femte försöket blev som jag tänkt.

Started with drawing the Schnauzer and it wasn´t that easy.
I drew two different pictures that I trashed immediately.
Then I made two new once that I coloured before trashing them too.
Fifth try was a success.

Gul rosett med lite glitter en lila bakgrund runt om.
Skar ut den med min skalpell.

Yellow bow with a bit of sparkle and a purple backgrund line around.
Cut it out with my scalpel.

Ville ha kanterna lite mörkare så jag använde Promarker Aubergine
till att färga dem.

Skapade skylten till framsidan och presentpaketen.
Skar ut dem en och en.
Limmade på hunden och skylten på framsidan och därefter presentpaketen en och en.
Klippte några av dem för att passa bättre.

Glued on the dog and sign on the front and then the gift boxes one by one.
Cutting some of them to fit better.

Observera!
Den lilla mörka fläcken på DP är fabrikstillverkad, inte något jag gjort.
Det fanns fler men hunden och presenterna hamnade ovanpå dem.

Observe! 

The little dark smudge up on the left on the DP is factory produced, not my doing.
There were more spots but the dog and gift boxes landed on top of them.

Jag färglade födelsedagstösens namn och använde Wink of Stella Clear för glittereffekt.
Text handskriven och egen design.
Använde samma presentpaket stämpel till att dekorera bakgrunden.
