Jag har gjort några kort för denna speciella unga dam genom åren och detta år blev korttemat tv-serien Vänner.

I have made a few cards for this special young woman over the years and this years the theme for the card was the NBC tv show Friends. 

Kortbas 21cm * 10,5cm CS  Purple Pizzazz från Reprint.

DP ramen 20,5cm * 10cm se bild nedan. Jag gillade prickarna.
Färglade med Promarker för att få rätt grön nyans. Distressade för att att få lite typ grunge effekt.

The DP frame 20,5cm * 10cm see picture below. I liked the dots.
Coloured with Promarker to get the right nuance of green. Distressed to get some sort of grunge effect.

Gjorde soffan först. 
Färglade den, skar ut. Limmade den på svart CS för att få mer djup och skar ut den igen.

Made the couch first.
Coloured it, cut it out. Glued it on black CS for more depth and cut it out again.

Det är svart CS och inte mörkbrunt.
Jag limmade på delar på backsidan för jag ville ha ännu mer djup.

It is black CS and not dark brown.
I glued on more pieces around the back cause I wanted even more depth.

Sen dom andra detaljerna för framsidan och insidan.  Använde färgen Purple, Promarker,  runt om varje bild innan jag skar ut dem med.

Then the other details for the front and inside. Use the colour Purple, Promaker, around every picture before I cut them out too.

Jag limmade på 3 lager av CS på baksidan av Central Perk skylten för att ge den en 3D effekt.

I glued CS piece in 3 layers on the back of the Central Perk sign to get the 3D effect.

Sen insidan. Gjorde citaten och ville ha dem i cirklar, lite som pratbubblor.
Använde QuicKutz dies.

Den svarta bakgrunden. Citatbubblorna är fastlimmade på baksidan av den. CS Midnight från Reprint.

Then the inside. Made the quotes and wanted them to be in circles, a bit like speech bubbles.
Used QuicKutz dies.

The black background. The quote bubbles are glued on from the back of it. CS Midnight from Paper Accents.

Använde samma färgsättning på bubblorna som prickarna mellan bokstäverna i Vänner loggan.
Använde alla tre Distresserna runt kanterna på pappersdelen med handskrivna gratulationstexten.

Strasstenar för prickarna emellan, i rätt ordning.

Used same colour pattern for the bubbles that the dots between the letters on Friends logo.
Used all three same Distress ink pads around the edges om the piece with handwritten congratulation text.

Rhinestones for the dots between, in right order.

Och baksidan. Bara tvungen att sätta ramen där, perfekt mot den lilla kortbasen.
Gulligt slut.

And the backside. Just had to put the frame there, perfect against the purple card base.

Iris till Hermina - Iris For Hermina.

Fick en beställning på ett kort till en dam på hennes 80 årsdag. Inget önskemål på något tema. Hon är från Kroatien så jag kände att Iris skulle passa.

Got an order for a a card to a lady on her 80th birthday. No theme request. She is from Croatia so I felt that the Iris would be fitting.

Sen började jag med solstråle-bakgrunden (Sunburst). Aldrig gjort en så det var lite klurigt.

I min skarplåda för överblivet papper hittade jag olika  vackra grön mönstrat Designpapper. 

Två av dem hade även vackert grönt mönster på andra sidan - du kan se framsida och baksida av samma DP papper till höger och vänster.

Jag visste inte hur lång bitarna behövde vara så jag valde 14,5 *5cm. Och skar sen diagonalt.
La upp på vanligt tunt skrivpapper, pappersbitens storlek 14*14 cm för att få det rätt.



Från början ville jag inte ha ram runt, bara limma soltråle- bakgrunden (Sunburst) direkt på den gröna kortbasen. Men jag ändrade mig.

 Jag ritade en vertikal linje på mitten av CS rambiten som jag skurit ut tidigare och började limmade på DP delarna 1 cm upp från underkanten. Startade med mittendelarna.

 

Fick mäta en hel del för att få dem att passa fint och rakt och att det skulle bli en smal ljus kant runt om.

Tog en stund och mycket tålamod. Fick också göra ny mindre bitar till slutändarna.

The I started to make the Sunburst for the background. Never done before so it was a bit tricky.

In my Scrap box for DP left scraps I found different lovely green patterned Design papers.
Two of them had also lovely green pattern on the other side -you can see front and back of same DP on the left end right pieces. 

Didn´t really know how long the pieces needed to be so I chose 14,5cm *5cm.  And cut them diagonally.
Alined first on a piece of ordinary thin writing paper , square size 14*14cm to get it right.

From the beginning I didn´t want any frame around it, just the sunburst directly on the green card base. However I change my mind.

I drew a vertical line in the middle of CS frame square piece I´d cut earlier and then started to glued the DP pieces about 1cm up from the bottom edge. Beginning with the middle pieces.

Had to measure a lot to make them fit nicely and straight and get a small light edge around.
Took a while and a lot of patience. Had also to make new smaller pieces at the ends.

Som ni kan se INGEN distress på några kanter. Ville ha ett stilrent utseende.

Därefter den halvrunda gröna DP biten (solen) och en grön ram till den.

Väldigt nöjd med slutresultatet.

As you can see NO distress on any edges. Wanted a clean look.

Then the half round DP piece( sun) and a gren frame for it.
Very pleased with the end result.

Dags att göra Irisen. Siffrorna skar jag ut med skalpell och embossade 2 gånger.

Två olika band: Grön Organza och ett guld. Limmade fast Organzabandet så överkanten av den hamnade på ungefär 3 cm från Ramens bottenkant ( inte kortbasen). Bredden på Organzan 1,2 cm. Guldglitterbandet 0,7cm

 En berlock och pärlor för dekoration.

Time to make the Iris. The numbers I cut out with a scalpel and embossed twice. 

Two different ribbons: green Organza and a golden.
Glued the so the top edge of Organza ribbon was at about 3 cm from the bottom edge of the frame ( not card base). Width of the organza ribbon 1,2 cm. Golden glitter ribbon 0,7cm

Stämplade lite blommor och distressade kanterna. Vill få in Irisens blåa färg.

Stamped on a few flowers and distressed the edges. Wanted to incorporate the blue colour of the Iris.

Fick en beställning från utlandet på två kort till en tjej som tagit sin examen.

Got an order from abroad for two card to a girl who has gotten her graduation.
This is the first one of those two.

De gröna CS ramdelarna (3st) vet jag inte vad dom heter men märket är Reprint.

The green CS frames ( 3 pieces) I don´t know the name of that but the brand is Paper Accent.

Jag fick fria händer att skapa, enda önskan av kunden var att den vita hatten skulle vara med.
Så jag ritade cirkeln och mössan och färglade.

Jag använde också Wink of Stella 999 på små detaljer som vattendelarna på bägge jordglober, frukt, mössans kokard och så vidare.

I hade free hands to create, the only wish from client was that the white cap would be featured.
So I drew the circle and the cap and coloured.

I also used a Wink of Stella Clear 999 on small details like the water parts on both globes, fruits, the cockade on the cap and so on.

Sen stansade jag ut bokstäverna (finska ordet för Grattis). Vit slät  cardstock färglagt med Promarker Umber.

Then I dies out the letters ( Finnish word for congratulations). White plain cardstock coloured with Promarkers Umber.

Gjorde några stämpeldetaljer. Kanterna distressade med Walnut Stain också.
