Korsordskortet - The Crossword card.

Fick äran att skapa ett födelsedagskort till en dam vid namn Pila.  Hon gillar spel och korsord så jag visste att jag villa använda korsord som tema.

Got the honor to make a birthday card for a lady named Pila. She loves games and crosswords so I knew I wanted to use crossword as the theme.

Kortbas 10,5cm*21cm CS Candlelight, ramen French Vanilla bägge från Reprint.
DP Vintage Spring Basic "4th of April " från Maja Design.
Kanterna på DPn (designpapper) distressade med Walnut Stain, Ranger.

Gjorde rutorna av CS Candlelight (samma som kortbasen) och ramen med CS Stonehenge från Reprint och bokstäverna av samma grå CS, dies Lollipop från QuiKutz.
den lilla grå pilen upp i hörnet på "i" rutan är handgjord. Kanterna på dom gula rutorna (Candlelight) distressades med Walnut Stain.

Jag kan berätta att det tog ett bra tag innan jag fick till orden som jag tyckte passade bäst på kortet.

Made the squares of CS candlelight  (same as card base) and frame CS Stonehenge from Paper Accents and the letters is the same gray CS, dies Lollipop from QuicKutz.
The little gray arrow in the upper corner of the "i" square is handmade. The edges of the yellow (Candlelight) squares distressed with Walnut Stain.

I can tell you that it took quite a while until I got the words the I thought looked best on the card.

Dekorerade med köpte blomknoppar, sidenrosett(jag knöt den) och stansade ut blad med Cheery lynn dies, färglade med Promarkerspennor.

Använde Dovecraft för glitter-och-våteffekt. Limmade dit några gröna strasstenar.

Decorated with ready made flower buds, a silk ribbon bow (I tied it ) and made leaves  with a die  from Cheery Lynn, coloured them with Promarkers. 

Used Dovecraft for glitter and wet effect. Glued on a few green rhinestones.

Pringles makeover.

Pringles makeover.

Köpte Pringles och visste att jag bara måste göra något med röret. 

Använda den till mina andra pysselprojekt.

Bought Pringles and I knew I had to do something with the can.

Make it useful for my other craft projects. 

Så jag började med att limma på designpapper. Jag valde Maja Designs Vintage Winter.

Jag använde en kantstans från Martha Stewart för att köra en söt kant , använde vit

slät CS och kanterna distressades med Chipped Sapphire från Ranger. 

Stämpelfärgen matchade fint med DPn.

Efter det limmade jag på (med limpistol) mörkblått band för att dölja skarven

där DPns kanter möts.

Gjorde också en rosett som dekoration.

So I first started to glue on some nice Design paper on it.

I chose Maja Design Vintage Winter.

I used a punch from Martha Stewart to make a pretty edge, using plain white

CS and the edges distressed with Chipped Sapphire from Ranger.

The ink matched nicely with the DP.

After that I glued on ( with a glue gun) wide dark blue ribbon to hide the  smal gap

where the DP edges meet. Did also a bow as a decoration.

Jag ville att det skulle stå ett ord på det- Skapelseträsket- namnet på min blogg 

samt även namnet jag har på mina andra hantverksprojekt.

Jag använde alfabetdies High Rise från QuicKutz på CS Amiral från Bazzill.

Så detta är slutresultatet.

and thats also my label on other crafting project I make.

I used the High Rise alphabet dies from QuicKutz on CS Amirla from Bazzill.

Nytt år och först ut är detta.

Fick en kortbeställning till en ung kvinna som älskar att spela fotboll och gillar färgen blå.

New year and first out is this.

Got a order for a card in to a young woman that loves playing football and likes the colour blue.

Kortbas 15*15cm CS Evening skye, Reprint. Ramen vanlig slät vit CS.

Den blå ramen på framsidan är gjord med QuicKutz dies på vit slät CS och färglagd med Promarkerpennan som heter Midnight och på de inner kanterna en lite touch av Wink of Stella clear 999.

DP Vintage autumn basic No XV från Maja Design, kanterna distressade med Walnut Stain, Ranger.

Löven gjorda med en dies av okänt märke, använde lite wink of Stella clear 999 på dem samt lite droppar av 3D Pearl Effect från Dovecraft för att ge dem lite glitter och krispighet.

Dekorerade med blå hjärtformade strassstenar.

The blue frame  is done with QuicKutz dies on white plain CS and coloured with Promarker pen called Midninght and on the inner edge a touch of  Wink of Stella clear 999.

DP Vintage autumn basic No XV from Maja Design, edges distressed with Walnut Stain, Ranger.

The leaves done with a dies brand unknown, used wink of Stella clear 999 on them and some drops of 3D Pearl effect from Dovecraft to give them som sparkle and crispiness.

Decorated with blue heart shaped rhinestones.

Ritade flickan och använde Copics till huden och Promarkers till resten.

The text inside is handwritten and my own design.

The text goes something like this:

Life is like a game of football-  its important to have tactics and a good eye on things.

To be able to work in groups, be responsive and dribble past all possible interference.

Make some mischief and work hard so you get rosy cheeks.

Penalties are good lessons on the way when it does go as planned.

To have self confidence and passion is good when you are driven and determined

( or to having the eyes on the goal it has a double meaning in this text).

But never forget  humility.

Fick en kortbeställning med väldig kort om tid- bara 24 timmar så det skulle hinna fram med snigelpost. Födelsedagsmannen älskar fiske så jag använde det som tema som ni kan se.

Got a order with very short notice- only 24 hours so it would get there in time through snail mail.

The birthday man loves fishing and that´s what I used as a card theme as you can see.  

Jag är i en period där jag skapar kort  ofta i denna storlek 20*10cm. CS för kortbasen heter Dusk tror jag, CS ramen är Great Lakes, Reprint.
DP Summertime  "Glittering Water" från Maja Design och kantdistressat med Walnut Stain från Ranger.

Så här såg min ritning ut innan jag färglade den med mina Promarkerpennor och sen när den var målad och utklippt.

To fish is like living.

You throw out your hook and hope for a bite. Sometimes you get a catch, sometimes you don´t and sometimes you hit the jackpot.

The important thing is that you fully enjoy and throw far.

Skapade förra året ett bröllopskort till detta par och i år fick jag äran att göra ett ettårig bröllopsdagskort och då det är bomull så skapade jag detta.

Made a wedding card for this couple last year and now I got the privilege to make a first wedding day anniversary card and as it is cotton I made this.

Kortbasen är 20*10cm CS Concord grape och ramen Cool Heather båda från Reprint.
Vintage Spring Basics 9th of April från Maja Design.
Jag ritade bomullsplantan och färglade med promarkerpennor (se bild nedan).

I drew the cotton plant and coloured with promarkers (see picture below).

Med bomullssytråd och lim gjorde jag hjärtan dekorerade med ljuslila rhinestones.

The text on the left says:

Cotton is like love...

It needs a lot of sun and some rain to grow stronger.

It is really washing resistance and long durability if you take good care of it.

But be careful cause it has a tendency to shrink so be sure to handle it gently from time to time.

It has also a cool feeling when your ears get hot.  

( meaning both hot as a love thing and when you are arguing)

It is so natural good for both body and soul.
