Sonic - The Sonic.

En liten pojke älskar igelkotten Sonic så hans mormor beställde ett födelsedagskort till honom med det temat.

En little boy loves Sonic hedgehog so his grandmother order a birthday card for him with that theme.

Jag valde att göra kortet lite större än vanligt: 21*15cm ungefär så igelkotten skulle kunna vara i en bättre storlek.

Kortbasen är gjord med CS Great Lakes och ramen Vibrant Blue från Reprint (Paper Accents utomlands). DP White & red &blue dots & stripes, Classic Collection från Karen-Marie Klip.

Rundade hörnen på DP och distressade dess kanter med Chipped Sapphire, Ranger.

I chose to make it a bit bigger than usually: 21*15cm-ich so the hedgehog could be in a better size.

Card base is made of CS Great lakes and frame Vibrant Blue both from Paper Accents (Reprint in Sweden). DP White & red &blue dots & stripes, Classic Collection from Karen-Marie Klip.

Rounded the corners on the DP and distressed its edges with Chipped Sapphire, Ranger.

Sen ritade jag igelkotten och färglade den med både Copics och promarkers samt använde Wink of Stella clear 999 på ögonen (se bilder nedan).

Then I draw the hedgehog and coloured it with both Copics and Promarkers and used Wink of Stella clear 999 on the eyes (see pictures below).

 Cirkeln gjorde jag med hjälp av en dies från QuicKutz på vit CS, färglade dem med två olika gråa toner, samma ljusgråa på stjärnorna som jag limmade på en efter en. Stjärnorna är utstansade med en kantstans från Martha Stewart.

The circle on the front I made with Circle dies from QuicKutz on withe CS,  coloured with two diffirent shades of grey, same light grey on the stars I glued on one by one. Stars done with a edgepunch from Martha Stewart.

Siffran 5 klippte jag ut i svart CS och embossade med Holographic embossingpulver och limmade den på en cirkel av CS Vibrant Blue.

Detta är hur den ser ut på insidan. bokstäverna är färglagda med Promarkers och texten handskriven.

Samma stjärnor på insidan som på cirkeln på framsidan.

Waldorf & Statler.

Waldorf & Statler. 

Till en man på hans 50-årsdag. En verkligen uppskattad vän och det var viktigt att det syntes på kortet.
Han älskar många saker inklusive att ta en öl med gamla goda vänner så dessa muppar passade perfekt!

For a man on his 50th birthday. A very appreciated friend and that was important that it showed on the card.
He loves many things including having a beer with good old friends so these muppets where perfect for it!

Kortbas 10,5*21cm CS dusk och ramen Buttercreme från Reprint. DP Gentlemen Books från Panduro. Kanterna distressade med Black Sooth, Ranger.

Mupparna handritade och färglagda med Promarkers och Copics.
Siffrorna handgjorda, embossade med Brun embossingpulver från Reprint.
Använde vit Sharpiepenna och Wink of Stella clear 999 till ölskummet. Samma Wink of Stella på deras ögon.
Promarkerpennan Gold använde jag att även färglägga CSbiten till bakgrunden bakom siffrorna. Ramarna runt siffror och mupparna är gjorda med dies från QuicKutz på svart CS.

The muppets handdrawn and coloured with Promarkers and Copics.
Numbers handmade, embossed with brown embossing powder from Reprint.
Used white Sharpie pen and Wink of Stella clear 999 on the beer foam. Same Wink of Stella on their eyes.

The Promaker golden I used for colouring the backgrund CS piece behind the numbers. The frames around the numbers and the muppets is mad with dies from QuicKutz on black CS.

Text inside my own design and handwritten.

It says:

There is plenty of good buddies in your life but a real friend is not always easy to detect.

It can take a while- you need to be patient and keep a  good look out to find one.

You can miss the opportunity without knowing it but later get the chance again, sometimes you can detect one for miles away.

To find someone with the same sense of humor and ethos, have  darn fun with. To have a discuss with and share one beer or several with is one of the finest privilege in life.

A best friend is someone which you never let go of.

You are one of them.
