Created this birthday card for a man with a big interest for fishing and hunting.

Den designade bakgrunden.

Först färgade jag en bit av vit slät cardstock.

The designed background.

First I coloured a piece of plain white cardstock.

Efter det dags att stämpla. Använde stämpelverktyg för att få det jämnt.

After that time to stamp. I used the stamping tool to get it even.

Här kan ni se att jag inte fick det jämnt som jag tänkt men tack vare stämpelverktyget var det bara för mig att stämpla en gång till ovanpå den gamla.

Here you can see that I didn´t get it even as I hoped but thanks to the stamping tool I just redid it on top of the old one.

Jag ville ha en ljusare ram ovanpå det gröna så jag skar ut ytterligare panel i Vanilla, Reprint.

I wanted a lighter frame on top of the green so I cut out another panel in Vanilla, Paper Accent.

Så älgen. färglade och skar ut. Jag ändrade bakgrunden runt den till svart.

So the moose.Colored and cut it out. I changed the background around it to black.

Jag gjorde gräsdetaljen också  och sen limmade jag ihop alla delarna.

I made the grass detail too and then glued the pieces together.

Stansade ut bokstäver och löv på vit slät cardstock till dekoration.

Punched out letters and leaves on plain white cardstock for decoration.

It says  on the top: "What?"
and on the bottom "Did you say fifty!?!"

The inside. Text my design and handwritten.

Translated from Swedish ( no rhyme in english):

Moose can live up to 25 years
in their deepest quiet nature corner.

They wander, munches and sometimes take a swim.
Have their own time rhythm - if needed taking a nap.

You have now reached up to two  moose -lifetimes.
Though no horns but loads of experience.

Swim calmly and enjoy
that´s the life affirmative person sweetest lot.

 Röd VW Buss -Red VW Bus.

Till detta kort medföljde önskemålet om jag kunde rita en Volkswagen buss till födelsedagsmannen som älskar VW bussar, speciellt röda. 

Kortbeställaren undrade om jag möjligtvis kunde sätta ett par (dem) inuti den. Som ni vet så älskar jag alltid en skaparutmaning.

For this card I got a request If I could draw a red Volkswagen bus to the birthday man who loves VW buses, specially red ones. 

The card orderer asked if I might be able to put a couple (them) inside it,

As you know I love always a craft challenge.

Gjorde bussen med paret i. Färglade den med både Promakerpennor och Copicpennor.

Made the bus with the couple. Coloured it with Promarkers and Copics.

Ni kan se en röd färgskiftning på bakänden av bussen. Ingen fara.

Jag tog bilden innan jag gjorde den klar.

You can see a red colour shift at the back end of the bus. No worries.
I took the picture before I finished it.

Detaljer på framsidan. Stansade ut bokstäver på slät vit cardstock och färglade dem med samma promarker färg som kepsen på födelsedagsmannen i bussen.

Jag var inte säker på hur jag skulle sätta dem på kortet. Försökte skapa en skylt men det såg inte snyggt ut.

Det såg betydligt bättre ut utan och jag gjorde först bara en röd linje men det kändes lite ofärdigt så jag la till en till.

Detail on the front. Punched out letters on plain white cardstock and coloured with same promarker colour as the cap on the birthday man in the bus.

I wasn´t sure how to put them on the card. Tried to make some sort of sign but it didn´t look good.

It looked much better without and first I made just one red line but it felt a bit unfinished so I made another one.

Ännu en detalj - träden. Utstansade på ljusgrönt CS och färglagda.
Ni kan inte se det men jag navände Wink Of Stella 999 på lamporna på bussen.

Another detail- the trees. dies out on light green CS and coloured.
You can´t see it but I used Wink of Stella 999 on the the lights on the bus.

Texten på insidan är egen design -handskriven.
Jag gjorde bubblor på insidan för att matcha med kortets framsida genom att stansa ut 3 olika stora hål ( de två minsta diesen och stansen) på överblivna CS rester och använde igen Distress Ink "Shabby Shutters".

Ville ha dem i olika toner. Gör dem mer levande. Distressade alla kanterna.

The text on the inside is my own design- handwritten.

I made some bubbles to match the card front by punching out 3 different sized holes ( the two smallest dies and the punch) on pieces of left over CS and used again Distress Ink "Shabby Shutters".

Wanted them to be in different shade. Makes them more alive. distressed all edges.

Födelsedagssiffran. Samma blåa färg som på bokstäverna på framsidan.

The Swedish rhyme text is created by me and easily translated:

Down with the side window, feel the wind sweep over the arm-

put on the sunglasses and the pally charm.
( The word "bussiga" is a slang for kind/pally and in short "buss" it means literally bus so it´s a pun.)

You have the whole world open under four rolling tyres.
Filled with freedom, excitement and other fun.

A short drive around town or a longer trip.
Only the soul knows when it´s  enough-
for that bubbly love you can not turn off.

Coolaste Studenten -The Coolest Student.

Fritt temaval och ett studentkort.

Möjligheterna är oändliga och samtidigt ska det passa för just det ändamålet.

Ett kort till en ung student som kliver ut med vita hatten på. Som studerat på estetiska linjen Serieteckning och Illustration. 

Kände direkt att det grafiska är ett måste och serieteckning - hur kul är inte det att få testa på lite!

Så här blev det.

Free theme choice and a Graduation card.

The possibilities are endless and at the same time it has to suit for that purpose. 

A card for a young graduate student stepping out with the white Graduation cap on. Who´s studied the Art program Comic (Cartoon) drawing and Illustration.

Felt right away that the graphic is a must and comic drawing - how fun wouldn´t that be to try.

This is how it turned out.

Jag ville att det skulle vara stilrent och inte för mycket men samtidigt färgstarkt och annorlunda.

Så det första jag skapade var den vita stora texten på framsidan - Den coolaste studenten.

Ja den är handgjord. Nej det är ingen dies.

Varför gör jag sådana här saker?

Det är för att jag har en vision och oftast kan jag inte hitta dies eller saker som jag vill ha och behöver.

Så, för mig, är det enklare att skapa det jag behöver.
Ja det tar en hel del tid och går det minsta fel får jag börja om, men det är värt det.

Jag gjorde texten i Affinity Photo, skrev ut på printpapper och fäste den på slät vit CS med lite tejp (noga med att inte skada ytan) och skar ut den med min skalpell.

I wanted it to be clean and not too much but at the sam time colorful and different.

So the first thing I did was the big white text on the front - the coolest Graduate.
Yes it´s handmade. No not a dies.

Why I make stuff like this?

 It´s  beacuse I have a vision and often I can´t find dies or things I want and need. 

So, for me,  it´s easier to make what I need.

Yes it takes a lot of time and if it goes just a tad bit wrong I have to remake it , but it´s worth it. 

 I made the text in Affinity Photo, printed it out on printing paper and then put it on white plain CS with small bit of sticky tape ( careful not making any damage on the surface) and cut it out with my scalpel.

Efter att jag skurit ut den embossade jag med Silver Satin Pearl pulver två gånger för slät yta.

Ramen till framsidan.
Mycket mätande och ommätande för att få till formen jag ville ha.

Varje tun linje inklusive ramen runt är 1 cm bred.

Jag ville att det skulle ha en konstkänsla och utseende som ett blad ur en seriemagasin.

 The frame for the front.
A lot of measuring and redoing it to get the form I wanted. Every thin line including outer line are 1cm wide. I wanted it to have a slightly artsy feeling and a comic magazine sheet look. 

Cardstockrester var perfekt att använda till färggranna paneler. Distressade rätt grovt för att skapa en djup-effekt. Ni kan se på baksidan rätta färgerna där alla delarna är fastlimmade.

Cardstock left overs where perfect to use for colourful panels. Distresssed the edges quite roughly to create a deep- effect. You can see the right colours  on the backside where all pieces are glued on.

Sen limmade jag på texten på backgrundpanelen.

Then I glued on the text on the background panel.

 Dags för detaljerna.
Jag hade olika idéer  om det men jag valde pratbubblor för att hålla det stilrent.

Ritade, färglade, skar ut och satte ihop allt på kortbasen.

Time for the  details.
I hade different ideas about them but I chose speak bubbles to keep a cleaner look.

Drew, coloured, cut out and put it all together on the card base.

Till insidan gjorde jag en pratbubbla, två stycken ljudeffekter och en studentmössa.

For the inside I made one speak bubble, two sound effects and a Student cap.

Placerade allt text nertill och lämnade övre delen tom då önskemålet var att få lite plats att skriva.

This is how the inside turned out.

Placed all text on the lower piece and left the upper empty as there was a request for space to write.

The text is a ryhm so the translation won´t sound that good but it basically says:

Computer, paper, pens and inspiration.

Semester with knowledge of wide variety.

Both in the ordinary theoretical

and in the fantastic creative aesthetics.

After many approved tasks 

you are now finally a Graduate!
