One cool giraffe on a birthday card for a member of my family.

Kortbas 10,5 cm *  20 cm CS Brandy Wine, Reprint.

Panel 9,5 cm* 19 cm CS i mörkgrönt, okänt märke.

Stripe Panel 5 cm * 19 cm DP namn okänt men jag tror det är från Panduro.

Panel 9,5 cm * 19 cm CS in darker green, unknown brand.

Ritade och färglade giraffen.

Sketch and coloured the giraffe.

Använde svart Copicpenna för att färglägga runt giraffen innan jag skar ut den.

Used black Copic pen to colour around the giraffe before cutting it put.

Skapade den lilla skylten till framsidan och satte sen ihop allt.

Den gröna paneldelen är 4 mm större än textdelen.

Minns inte riktigt exakt storlekarna men typ 2,8 cm * 6,6 cm och den gröna 4 mm större dvs 3,2 cm * 7 cm.

Made the little sign for the front and the put it all together.
The green panel piece is 4 mm bigger than the text piece.

Dont remember exactly the sizes of the sign but about 2,8 cm * 6,6 cm and the green 4 mm bigger so 3,2 cm * 7 cm.

Text inuti är min design och handskriven. Färglade bokstäverna med samma färger som på hatten och rosetten på giraffen ( se bild ovan med lilla skylten).

 Skapade detaljerna - hattarna. Samma färger.

Text inside is my design and handwritten. Coloured the letters with same colours as the hat and the bow on the giraffe ( see picture above with the little sign).

 Spring Blossom.

Ett födelsedagskort som jag skapat till min älskade faster.

A birthday card I made for my beloved auntie.

Jag är i akvarellträsket just nu. Bara älskar att måla.
Min faster gillar många saker inkluderat äpple och natur och så är det vår så perfekt med blomtema. Så jag skissade först och sen målade jag lager på lager.

I´m into aquarelles for the moment. Just love to paint.
My Aunt loves many things including apples and nature and it´s spring so perfect for a blossom theme. So I sketched first and then I painted layer by layer.

Första lagret bakgrund i våt i våt teknik. Lät det torka en stund och fyllde i resten.

First layer background wet on wet technique. Let it dry for a while and then I filled the rest.

Några lager senare med detaljer så var den klar.

Few layers later and details it was finished.

Den hade en vit ram men jag skar bort den till storlek 12 cm * 14 cm och limmade bilden på panelbiten med distressade kanter.

Därefter på kortbasen 13 cm * 15 cm CS Tropical Rain från Reprint.

Panelen till framsidan 12,5 cm * 14,5 cm CS Salt Sea också från Reprint.

It hade a white frame but I to cut it off to size 12 cm * 14 cm and glued the picture on the panel piece with distressed edges.

Then onto the card base CS Tropical Rain also from Paper Accent.

Texten inuti är min design och handskriven. Skapade en blomstencil med stans från Stampin Up! Använde Tumble Glass från Ranger att dutta fram mönstret och även till att distressa kanterna.

The text inside is my design and handwritten. Made a flower stencils with a punch from Stampin Up! Used Tumble Glass from Ranger to dab the pattern and also to distress the edges.

Slayer Python. 

Ett födelsedagskort till en speciell person som gillar Slayer och Monty Python. Så jag slog ihop dem två till detta. Ja det är till min make. ;)

A birthday card to a special person that likes Slayer and Monty Python.  So I combined the two into this. Yes it is for my husband. ;)

Jag ville att de röda panelerna hade en annan ton av rött som matchade bättre blommorna så jag färglade kanterna. Såg bättre ihop med den svarta DPn också.

I wanted the red panels to have another tone of red to match better to the flowers so I coloured the edges. Looked better against the black DP too.

And this is how it looked after I cut it out.

Efter det gjorde jag siffrorna. Min design. Ritade med blyerts först för att få rätt form.

Ja jag gjorde om dem några gånger då jag inte var nöjd med hur dom såg ut.men det slutade faktiskt med att jag använde dem jag skapat först.

After that I made the numbers. My design. Drew with led pencil first to get the right form.

Yes I redid them a few times cause I wasn´t happy with the look but I did end up using the first ones I made.

Detaljer till insidan. Slayer font mixat med Monty Python- liknande bokstäver, handgjort. Python bokstäverna färglade jag och så klart ritade en fluffig vit kanin.

Details for the inside. Slayer font mixed with Monty Python like letters, handmade. The Python letterers I coloured and of course drew a fluffy white bunny.

Och jag kunde inte låta bli att ska en detalj till baksidan.

Mannen "My brain hurts" från Monty Pythons flying Circus. Färgerna på kläderna är en personlig grej. Jag skar ut och limmade fast den på baksidan av kortbasen.

The man "my brain hurts " from Monty Pythons Flying Circus. The colours of clothes is a personal thing. I cut it out and glued it on the back of the card base.
