Citronträd - Lemon Tree.

Jag fick en födelsedagskortsbeställning och vid frågan vad födelsedagspersonen tycker om blev svaret berg, hav, färgerna blått och vitt, Spanien och citronträd.

Jag kände att jag skulle försöka få in allt i ett kort.

I got a birthday card order and when questioned what the birthday person likes the answer was mountains, sea, the colours blue and white, Spain and lemon trees.

I felt that I would try to get it all in the card. 

Kortbasen är 15*15cm CS French Vanilla och ram CS Great Lakes, båda från Reprint.

Gjorde den stora ritade bilden först och färglade den. Jag kan inte tala om för er vilken promarkerpennor jag använt i detalj då jag bara färglade med så många olika toner som ni kan se.

Made the big drawing first and coloured it. 
I can´t tell you which Promarker pens I used for what in detail cause I just coloured with lots of different shades as you can see.

Men jag tog bilder på alla pennor jag använt så ni får en bild på hur många det var.
Sista bilden visar när den var klar. Senare skar jag ner den lite för att passa bakom den blå ramen.

But I took a picture of all the pens I used so you get the picture how many it was.
The last picture shows when it was done. Later I cut it down a bit to fit behind the blue frame.

Citronträdet.
Ritade och färglade. Skar ut den med skalpell och limmade på småbitar av CS på baksidan. Ville få den i mer 3D/ sticka ut.
Hade lite problem med att hitta rätta platsen för den. Nånting kändes inte riktigt rätt.

The lemon tree.
Drew and coloured. Cut it out with scalpel and glued small pieces of CS on the back. Wanted it to be a bit 3D/ pop out.

Had a bit of a struggle to find the right place for it. Something didn´t feel right.

Här kan ni se att jag fick ta bort några grenar för den var för tät.
Jag ville att havet skulle synas mer. Distressade kanterna med promarkerpenna Blue Sky för att den skulle smälta in fint.

Wink of Stella Clear 999 på havet och växternas blad i stora bilden för glittrig effekt och strasstenar i alla hörn.

Here you can see that I had to get rid of a few branches cause it was a bit too dense.
I wanted the sea to be visible. Distressed the edges with Blue Sky Promarker pen to make it blend in nicely.

Wink of Stella Clear 999 on the sea and plant leaves in the big picture for glitter effect and rhinestones in all the corners.

Insidan.

Texten är min egen design och handskriven på vit slät CS. Kanterna lätt distressade.
Jag ville ha nån detalj på insidan så jag gjorde lådan med citronerna.

Inside.
The text is my own design and handwritten on white plain CS. Edges lightly distressed.
I wanted some detail inside so I made the box with lemons.

The text on the left says: 

Life has good moments
which are there to be enjoyed.
So even the time between.

blend the sour loveliness
with a little pinch of the
bittersweet beautiful and
live here and now.

Thats the translation, might sound a bit quirky but I basically means
 to take bits of the good and the bad and enjoy life.

Ibland vet man inte hur kortet ska se ut som man vill skapa.
Som denna gång. Jag hade bara en önskan: färg.
Detta är slutresultatet.

Sometimes you just don´t know what look on a card you want to create. 
Like this time. I had only one wish: colour. 
This is the end result.

'Med motto " Du kan aldrig göra fel i scrapbooking" så rotade jag runt i min pysselgarderob, gick igenom mina lådor av grejer. Sen började jag med att gör en bakgrund till framsida.

Stämplade på slät vit CS och färglade. Embossade bläckfisken på den med svart embossingpulver.

With the motto "You can never do anything wrong in scrapbooking" I simply rummaged around in my craft closet, went through my boxes of stuff. Then I started to make the  background for the front.

Stamping  on plain white CS and colouring. Embossed the Octopus on it with black embossing powder.

Jag ritade små cirklar runt bläckfisken med finspetsad Sakura Pigma penna innan jag gjorde små droppar med Dovecraft 3D för att få en bubblig under vattenytan effekt.

 I drew small circles around the octopus with a fine nibbed Sakura Pigma pen before making small drops with Dovecraft 3D to get a bubbly below the water surface effect.

Kortbas 15*15cm CS är jag osäker på. Antingen är det Oasis eller Blue Odyssey, Reprint 
Dom tre delarna som ramar är 14*14cm CS Anise från Florence.
  
Alla kanterna på sidorna på dem tre är distressade med två färger: Blueprint Sketch och Peacock Feathers, se föregående bild högre upp.

Samma färger distressad på bokstäverna efter utstansning med Cuttlebugs Olivia dies på slät vit CS.
Jag ville att dom skulle smälta in och bara hinta.
Samma sätt med siffrorna inuti kortet.

Same colours distressed on the letters after using the dies with Cuttlebug Olivia on plain white CS.
Wanted them to blend in and just be hinting ( it says "For You").
Same way with the numbers inside the card.

Texten på insidan är min egen design och handskriven.
Stämplade med både Distress (Peacock F / Blueprint S) och Versafine svart.

Cocker Spaniel.

Fick en beställning med kort varsel till en ung kvinna vid namn Erica.

Hennes favoritfärg är blå och hon har många djur inklusive en Cocker Spaniel så jag kände att det vore det perfekta temat till kortet.

Got a rush order for a birthday card to a young woman named Erica.

Her favorite colour is blue and she has many animals including a Cocker Spaniel so I felt that would be the perfect theme for the card.

Till kortbasen använde jag CS Evening Sky från Reprint och till ramarna Arctic från Bazzill. DP från Maja Design, se bild.

Ritade Spanieln använder min favoritpenna Sakura Pigma Micron005 svart med 005 udd.

Drew the Spaniel, using my favorite pen Sakura Pigma Micron black with 005 nib. 

Färglade i två steg: 1 hunden och 2 resten, detaljer.

Använde både Promarkerpennor och Copics.

Jag skar ut bilden och limmade den på en bit CS Arctic för att få en bättre inramning, så att den skulle poppa ut mer från den ljusa DP bakgrunden.

Du kan inte se det men jag hade på Wink of Stella Clear 999 på irisarna, rosetten och bandet för glans.

I cut out the drawing and glued it on a piece of CS Arctic to get a better frame for it, so it would pop out more from the light DP background.

You can´t see it but I used Wink of Stella Clear 999 on the irises, the bow and the ribbon for shininess.

De blå cirklarna omkring, dekoration, gjorde jag med dessa verktyg /dies, se bild.

På övre bilden är stencilerna som jag använde till insidan av kortet, kommer till det snart.

Färgen är samma mörkblåa som prickarna på lådan.

The blue circles around, decorations, I made with these tools/dies, see picture.

The upper picture are the stencils I used for the inside of the card, coming to that soon.

The colour is the same dark blue as the dots on the box.

Jag hade även här lite Wink of Stella på cirklarna. Mer bubblig känsla.

Here too I had some wink of Stella on the blue circles. More of a bubble feeling.

Numren är utskurna i slät vit CS och använde samma färger som på lådan/kronan och bandet och sen embossades dem.

The numbers I cut out from with plain CS and used same colours I used for the box/ crown and ribbon and then embossed them.

Så insidan. 

Handskriven text och här använde jag mina cirkelstenciler för att göra mina "bubblor".

På några få bubblor hade jag på Wink of Stella igen.

Blå distress till bubblorna och både brunt och blått till kanterna.

And then the inside. 

Handwritten text and here I used my circle stencils to make my "bubbles". 

On few of them I had Wink of Stella on again.

Blue distress on the bubbles and both brown and blue distress on the edges.
