Shutter kort 70 - Shutter card 70.
Första gången jag skapade ett så kallat shutter kort till min farbror på hans 70de födelsedag.
Hade lite funderingar på mått när jag skapade som ni kommer kunna läsa i detta inlägg.

First time I made a shutter card for my uncle on his 70th birthday.
I hade some thoughts about the measurements when creating it as you will read in this post.
Kortbas och mittendelen till insidan CS Evening Sky från Reprint.
Bigade på 5,5cm i vardera ände. Stora mittdelen 11cm.

Folded at 5,5 cm on both ends. The big middle part 11cm.
Måtten var vad jag började med på denna mittendel.Jag fick ta bort några millimeter på vardera sida för jag ville ha den bredare än vad den var på olika mallar jag tittat på.
Kunde inte förstå varför den inte var bredare. Men när jag satte ihop den insåg jag VARFÖR den behövde vara smalare.

The measurements was what I started with on this middle part.
I had to take a few millimeters off on both sides cause I wanted it to be wider than what I found on different templates.
Couldn´t figure out why it wasn´t wider. But when I put it together I realized WHY it had to be narrower.

Storlekarna på DP panelerna. De två små 5cm*17cm. Den stora 10.5cm*17cm.Alla kanterna distressade innan jag limmade fast dem inuti kortbasen.

Hur man sätter shuttern. Skär ut V-form på typ 3,5cm in och 3,75 from toppen ner ( mitten på delens höjd.)
Lägg dem omlott och sätt lim i andra ändarna på den bigade1 cm kanten.
Vik sidorna på det limmade för att vara säker på att du får dem på rätt plats annars kan du inte stänga kortet - Det är VARFÖR mittendelen fick bli smalare, där jag gjorde lite fel.

How to make the shutter. Cut out a V- shape at about 3,5cm in and 3,75 cm from the top down (middle of the piece in height.)
Wrap the pointy ends and glue on the other folded 1 cm ends.
Fold the sides on the glue to be sure you are able to get them at the right place or otherwise you won´t be able to shut the card - That´s the WHY the middle piece needs to be narrow, where I went a bit wrong.

Här kan ni se att den blåa CS är lite smalare på mittdelens sidor.
Men det funkar fint!

Dekorerade insidan med bokstäver och siffror.
Orden ONNEA är finska för grattis. Blå Wink of Stella på dem alla.

Words on the sides are ONNEA in Finnish meaning congratulations. Blue Wink of Stella on them all.

Till utsidan DP runt om. Såg mer färdigt ut och ett midjeband.

For the outside DP all around. Looked more complete and a waistband.
All DP edges distressed.
Gjorde midjebandet ungefär 5mm bredare än det stängda kortet.***
Made the waistband about 5mm wider than the closed card.
Den stor utstansade stjärnan var i samma CS Evening Sky men jag distressade den för en mer shabby utseende.***
The big punched star is in same CS Evening Sky but I distressed it to make it another more shabby colour.
