Trollslända - Dragonfly.

Ibland vet man vad man vill men har inte en tydlig vision.

Det är då man går igenom alla scrapbookinggrejer och hittar saker som "talar" till dig.

Och det här är mitt resultat. En födelsedags-tag (etikett) till en vän.

Sometimes you know what you want but don´t have a clear vision.

That´s when you go through all your scrapbooking stuff and find things that "speaks" to you.

And this is my end result. A birthday tag for a friend.

Etikettens basmått 8,7cm *13,7cm CS Aquarium from Core´dinations.

DP okänd, storlek 8,4*13,4cm. Jag valde den mest för färgen.

Den rosa panelen är till baksidan CS Nude från Reprint.

Size 8,4*13,4cm.

(Varför dom konstiga måtten? Mitt fel! Jag skar lite fel och fick korrigera det.)

The base measurements of the tag 8,7cm *13,7cm CS Aquarium from Core´dinations.

The pink panel is for the backside CS Nude from Paper Accents.

Kanterna på etikettens basdel och lite här och där på DP -panel distressades grovt med Rangers oxide.

The edges of the tag base and  here and there on DP panel was distressed roughly with Rangers oxide.

Sen gjorde jag stämplingen och embossningen på DP-panelbiten.

Gav den lite guldskimmer.

Then I did the stamping and embossing on the DP panel piece.

Gave it a bit of  gold shimmer.

Lite svart på själva kanterna.

Maskrosor, skar ut och använde distress Black Soot för att tona ner den rosa CS

( samma som panelen på baksidan).

Details for the front.

Dandelions, cut out ad used distress Black Soot to tone the pink CS down

( same CS as the panel on the back).

Limmade DPn på basen och därefter Maskrosorna.

Gjorde ett hål upptill och en ram till hålet. tycker det ser mer prydligt ut.

Glued the DP on the base and the Dandeolions.

Made the hole on top and made a frame for the hole. I think it looks more proper.

Trollslända. Den stora till framsidan och den minsta bak, kommer sen.

Dragonfly. The big for the front, the smallest on the back, you´ll see later.

Stämplade på slät vit CS, embossade i guld och skar ut den.

Sen embossade jag ytterligare med lite holographic pulver på vingarna.

Stamped on plain white CS, embossed in gold and cut it out. 

And then I embossed it further with some Holographic powder on the wings.

Black Soot på baksidan innan jag limmade några små delar av CS (tre lager) så den skulle poppa ut från etiketten (3D känsla).

Distressade också trollsländan så det vita skulle var mindre skarpt.

Lite olika band och en charm för att färdigställa det.

Black Soot on the back before I glued on a few pieces of CS ( 3 layers) so it would pop out from the

tag (3D feeling).

Also distressed a bit on the dragonfly to make the white less sharp.

A few different ribbons and a charm to finish it.

Stensilerade i hörnen och stämplade ordet GRATTIS och den lilla trollsländan.

 Pusselkortet- The Puzzle Card.

Ett födelsedagskort till den bäste farbrorn. Inte alltid lätt att veta vad man ska ha för tema men han gillar att lägga pussel så jag tog utmaningen att göra ett.

A birthday card for the best uncle. Not always easy to know what to do as a theme but he likes to do puzzles so I took the challenge of making one.

Kortbas 17cm* 12,5 cm CS Tutu Pink från Bazzill.

Ramar: Den på framsidan 16,5 cm*12cm och dom 2 på insidan 16 cm*11,5cm CS Black, Reprint. DP namn okänt men från Panduro tror jag.

Ritade och skar ut pusselbitarna. Färgade kanterna med en grå penna

först och därefter med distress för att få en shabby sotigt utseende.

Card base 17 cm*12,5 cm CS Tutu Pink from Bazzill.

Frames: The on on the front 16,5 cm*12 cm and the 2 inside 16 cm*11,5 cm CS Black, Paper Accents. DP unknown name but from Panduro I think.

Sketched and cut out puzzle pieces. Coloured the edges first with gray pen and then distressed for a shabby soothy look.

Flyttade runt lite för att testa hur det skulle se ut innan

jag limmade allt på plats utom en bit- den i mitten.

Skapade en separat mittendel - gjorde flera stycken innan jag fick en jag tyckte vart bra - som inte passade på framsidan men som passade med texten inuti.

Sen gjorde jag skylten nere i högra hörnet. Samma CS från Bazzill på bokstäverna som kortbasen.

Moved the pieces around a bit to see what would look best before

gluing them on except for one piece- the middle one.

Made a separate middle piece - well made several before getting one I liked - that didn´t fit on the front but did fit with the text inside.

Then I made the little sign down on the right corner. Same CS from Bazzill for the letters as the card base.

Den riktiga mittenbiten hamnade på insidan med texten som är egen design och handskriven.

Kanterna distressade först med Spun Sugar och sen tunt med Black Sooth, Ranger.

The real middle piece ended up on the inside with the text that is my own design and handwritten.

Edges distressed first with Spun Sugar and then thin with Black Sooth, Ranger.

Fick möjligheten att skapa ett födelsedagskort till en genuin och härlig kattgalen - crazy cat-  lady.

The text rhymes in Swedish so it doesn´t sound the best in english so bare with me.
