Trippel Hurra - Tripple Hurrah.

Ett kort till ett par som firade sina 75års födelsedagar samt 25 årig bröllopsdag.
Önskemålet från beställaren var att det skulle vara lite roligt/ gulligt.

A card to a couple that celebrated their both 75 birthdays and 25 wedding Anniversary.
The request from customer was that i should be a bit funny/cute.

Kortbas 17,5*11,5 cm CS Spring Green och ramen 17 *11 cm CS Purple Pizzazz båda från Reprint.

DP 16,5*10,5cm. Gillade det gröna vågiga linjerna så jag använde Syster Yster DP.

Distressade kanterna, se bild nedan.

Detaljer till framsidan. Stansade ut en oval i okänd grön CS ( QuicKutz die) som jag sen hade Wink of Stella på, ville att det skulle glittra.

Och några bokstäver på slät vit CS.
Jag tänkte att allt kanske skulle få plats men det gjorde det inte så jag valde bara att använda bokstäverna som bildade ordet grattis.

Details for the front. Diesed out an oval in unknown green CS ( QuicKutz die) and then had on wink of Stella on it, wanted it to sparkle.

And some letters dies on plain white CS.

I thought all might fit but it didn´t so I only used the letters for the word GRATTIS

(meaning congratulations).

Använde den utstansade CS-resten av ett av hjärtan för att skapa dom gröna hjärtan inuti och en liten duttsvamp och duttade dit dem. Samma gröna distress som innan.

The inside. Text own design and handwritten.

Used the punched out CS leftover from one of the hearts and a dauber to make the green hearts inside and dabbed them on. Same green distress as before.

 On the left it says ( and it rhymes in Swedish):

Today you celebrate extra big-

with happiness and lots of holler.

With loads of flowers

and cake that is so good.

The number slightly changes but remember- 

seventyfive is the new fifty.

You have also had 25 wedding Anniversary. 

That´s an achievement of its own sort.

Grönrandig Burk -
Green Striped Can.

Du kan aldrig ha för många.

Jag har gjort några av dessa burkar tidigare. Dom är så bra att ha saker i som till exempel stickor för stickning - som denna var till för.

You can never have to many.

I have done a few of these cans before. They are great to store stuff like knitting needles for knitting - like this one was for.

Denna gång skar jag inte burken kortare, jag behövde den i fullängd. Gjorde ett svart streck med en promarkerpenna så det orangea färgen inte skulle sticka ut i pappersskarven.

This time I did not cut the can shorter, I needed it in full length. Made a black line with promarker pen so the Orange colour wouldn´t peer out where the paper edges meets.

Till dekoration ville jag hålla det enkelt så en vit spetsbård utstansat med en Martha Stewart stans på vit slät cardstock.

For decoration I wanted it to be simple so a white lace edging punched out with a Martha Stewart punch on white plain cardstock.

Skar ut två smala gröna remsor från samma DP som jag sen limmade på runt topp och botten för att få en snyggt avslut.

Cut of two thin green strips from the same DP that I then glued on round the top and bottom to make a nice ending.

Jag såg alla runda pappersbitar - överblivet efter utstansning av spetsbården - och kände att det kunde bli en fin stilren detalj. Limmade fast dem en och en.

I saw all the round paper pieces - leftovers after punching out the lace edging - and felt that that would be a nice clean detail. Glued them on one by one.

Och sen var den färdig.

 Röd VW Buss -Red VW Bus.

Till detta kort medföljde önskemålet om jag kunde rita en Volkswagen buss till födelsedagsmannen som älskar VW bussar, speciellt röda. 

Kortbeställaren undrade om jag möjligtvis kunde sätta ett par (dem) inuti den. Som ni vet så älskar jag alltid en skaparutmaning.

For this card I got a request If I could draw a red Volkswagen bus to the birthday man who loves VW buses, specially red ones. 

The card orderer asked if I might be able to put a couple (them) inside it,

As you know I love always a craft challenge.

Gjorde bussen med paret i. Färglade den med både Promakerpennor och Copicpennor.

Made the bus with the couple. Coloured it with Promarkers and Copics.

Ni kan se en röd färgskiftning på bakänden av bussen. Ingen fara.

Jag tog bilden innan jag gjorde den klar.

You can see a red colour shift at the back end of the bus. No worries.
I took the picture before I finished it.

Detaljer på framsidan. Stansade ut bokstäver på slät vit cardstock och färglade dem med samma promarker färg som kepsen på födelsedagsmannen i bussen.

Jag var inte säker på hur jag skulle sätta dem på kortet. Försökte skapa en skylt men det såg inte snyggt ut.

Det såg betydligt bättre ut utan och jag gjorde först bara en röd linje men det kändes lite ofärdigt så jag la till en till.

Detail on the front. Punched out letters on plain white cardstock and coloured with same promarker colour as the cap on the birthday man in the bus.

I wasn´t sure how to put them on the card. Tried to make some sort of sign but it didn´t look good.

It looked much better without and first I made just one red line but it felt a bit unfinished so I made another one.

Ni kan inte se det men jag navände Wink Of Stella 999 på lamporna på bussen.

Another detail- the trees. dies out on light green CS and coloured.
You can´t see it but I used Wink of Stella 999 on the the lights on the bus.

Texten på insidan är egen design -handskriven.
Jag gjorde bubblor på insidan för att matcha med kortets framsida genom att stansa ut 3 olika stora hål ( de två minsta diesen och stansen) på överblivna CS rester och använde igen Distress Ink "Shabby Shutters".

Ville ha dem i olika toner. Gör dem mer levande. Distressade alla kanterna.

The text on the inside is my own design- handwritten.

I made some bubbles to match the card front by punching out 3 different sized holes ( the two smallest dies and the punch) on pieces of left over CS and used again Distress Ink "Shabby Shutters".

Wanted them to be in different shade. Makes them more alive. distressed all edges.

Födelsedagssiffran. Samma blåa färg som på bokstäverna på framsidan.

The Swedish rhyme text is created by me and easily translated:

( The word "bussiga" is a slang for kind/pally and in short "buss" it means literally bus so it´s a pun.)

Det var till en ung kvinna som studerat djurvårdsprogrammet och jag använde

djur som tema till att skapa ett personligt studentkort till henne.

Got a card order.

It was for a young woman who has studied the animal care program and I used

animals as a theme to make her a personal graduation card.

Skapade texten till framsidan.

Jag gjorde mallen i Affinity Photo. Printade ut och med små rullade bitar av

tejpfäste jag den på vit slät cardstock.

Använde min skalpell för att skära ut den. Tog en stund och knivbladet måste vara

väldigt vasst( nytt) så man inte river sönder. Och väldigt försiktig.

Made the text for the front.
(It says "Sing about the Student" it´s a part of a phrase from the traditional

graduation song).

I made a template in Affinity Photo. Printed and with small pieces of rolled

stickytape attached it to white plain cardstock.

Use my scalpel to cut it out. It took a while and the knife blade needs to be very

sharp (new) so you don´t tear it. And very careful.

Jag var inte säker på vilken färg skulle passa med designpappret (DP) jag valt.

På bilden nedan kan du se alla tre pulvren och färgen jag embossade de första

tre gångerna med och gillade inte resultatet.

Den bara försvann mot Maja Design DPn.

I wasn´t sure what colour would suit with the Design Paper (DP)  I chose.

In the picture below you can see all the three powders and the colour I embossed it

with the first three times first and didn´t like the result.

It just fell flat agains the Maja Design DP.

Till slut valde jag att att embossa med guldpulver och det såg så mycket bättre ut.
Fick ta det väldigt försiktig så det inte blev förstört.

Mycket embossingvätska på slutet men jag tog det väldigt varligt med

embossingfönen.

I chose at the end to emboss with gold powder and it looked so much better.
Had to be very cautious not to messed it up.

A lot of embossing liquid at the end but I used the embossing heating tool with

great care. 

Dags att rita. Gjorde djuren och färglade dem.

Time to draw. Made the Animals and coloured them.

Wink of Stella 999 on the eyes of the cats and on the  cockade - the button on the 

graduation cap.

Skar ut dem och gjorde klart framsidan med lite musiknoter som fin detalj.

Cut them out and finished the front with some music notes as a nice detail.

This text also rhymes in Swedish so of course it sound better in Swedish

than english. ;)
