Prickiga boxen - The Polka Dot Box. 

En nära vän till mig firade sin födelsedag så jag bestämde mig för att skapa en söt presentlåda till henne med lite godsaker och grejer i.
En låda som hon kunde stoppa andra små saker i om hon ville, så där av inga siffror på den.

A close friend of mine celebrated her birthday so I decided to make a cute gift box for her with some goodies and stuff in it.
A box that she could put other small things in it if she wanted, therefore no numbers on it.

Började med att skapa botten.
Använde CS Black från Bazzill,  storlek 30*30cm.
Mätte upp, du kan se mallen nedan, hoppas du kan tyda den, om inte så säg till mig.

Jag vek på bägge sidorna för jag tycker hörnen ser mer starka och prydliga ut.

Started with creating the bottom part.
Used CS Black from Bazzill,  size 30*30cm.
Did the measuring, you can se the template below, hope you can read it, if not let me know.

I folded both sides because I think the corner looks more solid and proper.

Klipp med sax i fyra hörnen.

Cut with scissor in the four corners.

Dom vikta kanterna limmades ihop för att göra hörnen stadigare och snyggare.
Fliken limmades därefter mot en av sidorna.

The folded edges were glued together to make sturdier nicer looking corners.
The flap was then glued to one of the sides.

The lid folded has the sizes 10,5cm*10.5 cm.,

Skar ut DP delar  storlek 9*9cm på de svarta stora bitarna och 9,5*9,5cm på den stora turkosa biten.
De randiga små storlek 9,5*3cm.

Cut out DP pieces size 9 *9cm the big black ones and 9,5cm*9,5cm the turquoise big piece.
 The striped small ones are size 9,5 *3cm.

Distressade alla kanterna med samma Black Sooth.

Distressed all the edges with the same Black Sooth.

Dags att limma på det matchande banden. Jag använder Tacky glue, gillar inte dubbelhäftande tejp.
Jag är mer en lim-älskare. Jag vill att det ska hålla länge.

Time to glue on the matching ribbon. I use Tacky glue, not a fan of double sided tape.
I´m more a glue-lover. I want it to hold for a long time.

Dekorationen på locket. Distressade kronbladen.
Stansade ut murgrönebladen ( dies från John Next Door) på CS "String of Pearls", Bling Bazzill.

Jag använde också metaltråden från stammarna från pappersblommorna till dekoration.

I also used the metal wire stems from the paper flowers for decoration.

Liten Elefant i Bollhav - Little Elephant in Ball Pond.

Beställning på ett födelsedagskort. Zelda älskar bollhav så jag använde det till henens första födelsedagskort.

 A birthday card order. Zelda loves the ball pond so I used that for her first birthday card.

Gröna delarna är 14*14cm. Cirkelns CS okänd ljuslila.

För att göra dekorationen av bollar/ bubblor runt omkring använde jag stans från Stampin Up!.
Kanterna på den lila cirkeln distressad med Dusty Concord.

To make the decoration of balls/ bubbles around I used a punch from Stampin Up!. 

Edges on the purple circle distressed with Dusty Concord.

Wink of Stella Clear 999 på ögonen.

Runda hörn för ett mjukare utseende.

Insidan. 
Nummer och bollar handgjorda. Använde samma färger som på framsidan.
Skar ut i separata delar och limmade.

Den lila cirkeln är lite mindre än den på framsidan. Samma distress.

The inside.
Number and balls handmade. Use same colours as on the front.
Cut out in separate pieces and glued on.

The purple circle is a bit smaller than the one on the front. Same distress.

Bokstäverna färglagda med samma färger jag använde till bollarna. all text handskrivet.
Kanterna på den släta vita CS biten distressade.

Terminator.

En kortbeställning där födelsedagsfiraren gillar Terminator filmerna.

Kortbas 15*15cm CS Dark Grey från Reprint.

Sen gjorde jag den ritande bilden på Arnold som Terminatorn till framsidan.
Använde skalpellen för att skära ut den.

En röd prick på ögat och även lite Wink of Stella Clear 999 för att få det att "lysa lite".

A red dot on the eye part and also a bit of Wink of Stella Clear 999 so it would "shine a bit".

Efter det gjorde jag ramen 14,5 cm*14,5cm CS Noreaster, Bazzill. Formen är av ett Terminator öga. Varje del är 1 cm brett.

After that I made the frame14,5cm*14,5cm CS Noreaster, Bazzill. The shape is of a Terminator eye. Every part is 1cm wide.

Bakom svarta ramen använde jag CS Classic Red, Bazzill. Distressade runt kanterna för att skapa en röd klar cirkel i mitten.

Behind the black frame I used CS Classic Red, Bazzill. Distressed round the edges to make a clear red circle in the middle.

Till insidan skar jag ut för hand siffrorna och embossade med rött pulver två gånger för att få slät fin yta.

For the inside I cut out by hand numbers and embossed them with red powder twice to get a smooth nice surface.

Texten handskriven. Distressade över hela för att få ruffigt utseende på det hela och gjorde några röda stänk med en stencil.

The text is handwritten. Distressed all over to give it a rough look and made some red splashes with a stencil.

Citronträd - Lemon Tree.

Jag fick en födelsedagskortsbeställning och vid frågan vad födelsedagspersonen tycker om blev svaret berg, hav, färgerna blått och vitt, Spanien och citronträd.

Jag kände att jag skulle försöka få in allt i ett kort.

I got a birthday card order and when questioned what the birthday person likes the answer was mountains, sea, the colours blue and white, Spain and lemon trees.

I felt that I would try to get it all in the card.

Gjorde den stora ritade bilden först och färglade den. Jag kan inte tala om för er vilken promarkerpennor jag använt i detalj då jag bara färglade med så många olika toner som ni kan se.

Made the big drawing first and coloured it. 
I can´t tell you which Promarker pens I used for what in detail cause I just coloured with lots of different shades as you can see.

Men jag tog bilder på alla pennor jag använt så ni får en bild på hur många det var.
Sista bilden visar när den var klar. Senare skar jag ner den lite för att passa bakom den blå ramen.

But I took a picture of all the pens I used so you get the picture how many it was.
The last picture shows when it was done. Later I cut it down a bit to fit behind the blue frame.

Citronträdet.
Ritade och färglade. Skar ut den med skalpell och limmade på småbitar av CS på baksidan. Ville få den i mer 3D/ sticka ut.
Hade lite problem med att hitta rätta platsen för den. Nånting kändes inte riktigt rätt.

The lemon tree.
Drew and coloured. Cut it out with scalpel and glued small pieces of CS on the back. Wanted it to be a bit 3D/ pop out.

Had a bit of a struggle to find the right place for it. Something didn´t feel right.

Här kan ni se att jag fick ta bort några grenar för den var för tät.
Jag ville att havet skulle synas mer. Distressade kanterna med promarkerpenna Blue Sky för att den skulle smälta in fint.

Wink of Stella Clear 999 på havet och växternas blad i stora bilden för glittrig effekt och strasstenar i alla hörn.

Here you can see that I had to get rid of a few branches cause it was a bit too dense.
I wanted the sea to be visible. Distressed the edges with Blue Sky Promarker pen to make it blend in nicely.

Wink of Stella Clear 999 on the sea and plant leaves in the big picture for glitter effect and rhinestones in all the corners.

Insidan.

Texten är min egen design och handskriven på vit slät CS. Kanterna lätt distressade.
Jag ville ha nån detalj på insidan så jag gjorde lådan med citronerna.

Inside.
The text is my own design and handwritten on white plain CS. Edges lightly distressed.
I wanted some detail inside so I made the box with lemons.

The text on the left says: 

Life has good moments
which are there to be enjoyed.
So even the time between.

blend the sour loveliness
with a little pinch of the
bittersweet beautiful and
live here and now.

Thats the translation, might sound a bit quirky but I basically means
 to take bits of the good and the bad and enjoy life.
