Got an order for a card to a girl on her eighteenth birthday!

She likes the colours light blue and purple/ lilac and she loves cats.

Kortbas (vikt) är 14*11cm CS Vibrant Blue och ramen concord Grapes

från Reprint. 

DP  "Journey" från Firefly Collection #845209.

Hela kortets storlek (öppnat) är 14*30cm med vikning på 9,5 cm i bägge ändar.

Använde slät vit CS för spetsdetaljerna. Distressade kanterna (se bild nedan).

Card base (when folded) 14*11cm CS Vibrant Blue and the frame Concord Grapes

from Paper Accents.

DP  "Journey" from Firefly Collection #845209.

The whole piece (opened) is 14*30 cm scored with folds at 9,5 cm on both ends.

Used plain white CS for the lace details. Distressed the edges (see pictures below).

Gjorde katterna och färglade med promarkerpennorna.

Skapade också en silhuett att ha inuti kortet.

Made the cats and coloured them with promarker pens.

I also created a silhouette to have on the inside of the card.

På framsidan använde jag två dies och hade på wink of Stella Clear 999 på bägge.

On the front I used two dies, the text says Congratulations.

Had some Wink of Stella clear 999 on both.

hade på Wink of Stella Clear 999 på den med.

Skapade detta födelsedagskort med temat djur. Det är fest!

Created this birthday card with the theme animals. It´s a party!

Kortbas 15*15cm CS vintage Pink, ram Midnight båda från Reprint. DP Celebration- good times, Maja Design.

DPns kanter distressade med Black Soot.  Numren handgjorda, utskurna på vit slät CS färglagd med Rose Pink Promarkerpenna och embossade med embossingpulver (se bild nedan).

Cirklarna gjorda med QuicKutz och den gröna på samma vita CS och färglagd. Distressad med black Soot.

dekorationen på framsidan gjord med dies från cheery Lynn. Bekosa orgnzaband som lås.

Sist några strasstenar.

DP edges distressed with Black Soot. The numbers handmade, cut out on white plain CS coloured with Rose Pink- Promarker and embossed with embossingpowder (see pic below).

Circles done with QuicKutz and the green is made from white plain CS too and colured. Distressed with Black Soot.

The decoration on front done with the dies from Cheery Lynn, Pale pink Organza ribbon as a lock. Last a few rhinestones.

Så insidan. Ritade några djur och färglade dem emd Promarkers.

Jag skar ut djuren och limmade dem på svart CS (Midnight). Texterna är egen design, handskrivna.

This is the inside.
I cut out the animals and glued them on black CS (midnight). The texts is own design, handwritten.

The text on the left goes something like this:

To have a birthday is natural thing but one day the special day will arrive.

The day when it´s not wrong to have multi coloured hair, many different nailpolish, baggy trousers with a chequered patterned skirt on top at the same time and letting every day be a party.

Before (when you where younger)  it was called a rebel phase- now it´s called being cool and mature.
Finally you have reach the fantastic fourties!

Fick äran att skapa ett födelsedagskort till en dam vid namn Pila.  Hon gillar spel och korsord så jag visste att jag villa använda korsord som tema.

Got the honor to make a birthday card for a lady named Pila. She loves games and crosswords so I knew I wanted to use crossword as the theme.

Kortbas 10,5cm*21cm CS Candlelight, ramen French Vanilla bägge från Reprint.
DP Vintage Spring Basic "4th of April " från Maja Design.
Kanterna på DPn (designpapper) distressade med Walnut Stain, Ranger.

Gjorde rutorna av CS Candlelight (samma som kortbasen) och ramen med CS Stonehenge från Reprint och bokstäverna av samma grå CS, dies Lollipop från QuiKutz.
den lilla grå pilen upp i hörnet på "i" rutan är handgjord. Kanterna på dom gula rutorna (Candlelight) distressades med Walnut Stain.

Jag kan berätta att det tog ett bra tag innan jag fick till orden som jag tyckte passade bäst på kortet.

Made the squares of CS candlelight  (same as card base) and frame CS Stonehenge from Paper Accents and the letters is the same gray CS, dies Lollipop from QuicKutz.
The little gray arrow in the upper corner of the "i" square is handmade. The edges of the yellow (Candlelight) squares distressed with Walnut Stain.

I can tell you that it took quite a while until I got the words the I thought looked best on the card.

Dekorerade med köpte blomknoppar, sidenrosett(jag knöt den) och stansade ut blad med Cheery lynn dies, färglade med Promarkerspennor.

Använde Dovecraft för glitter-och-våteffekt. Limmade dit några gröna strasstenar.

Decorated with ready made flower buds, a silk ribbon bow (I tied it ) and made leaves  with a die  from Cheery Lynn, coloured them with Promarkers. 

Used Dovecraft for glitter and wet effect. Glued on a few green rhinestones.

All text på insidan är min egen design och handskriven.
Siffrorna, Lollipop dies från QuicKutz. Färglagda med Promarkerpennan blue Pearl och därefter Wink of Stella Clear 999.

Gjorde ett BMW kort för två år sedan till samma kille, en gul.
Nu äger han en gråblå och beställaren ville att den nya BMWn skulle vara på födelsedagskortet då han älskade det första kortet.

Made a BMW card two years ago to the same guy, a yellow one.
Now he owns a grey/blue and the orderer wanted the new BMW to be on this birthday card cause he loved the first card.

Kortbasen är 15*15cm svart CS från Reprint.  DP Syster Yster, Children RP0038 från Reprint.
Jag ritade bilen och färglade med promarkerpennor och skar ut med skalpell och limmad på grå CS.

I drew the car and coloured it with Promarker pens and cut it with skalpel and glued it on grey CS.

Använde en dies från Cheery Lynn för att göra kugghjul och hade lite wink of Stella i olika färger för att få dem mer metalliska. Jag vet inte vad CS jag använde heter.
QuicKutz rektanglediesen använde ajg att göra ramarna i svart CS.

Used a dies from Cheery Lynn to make the  cogwheels and had some wink of Stella in different colours to make them more metallic.
The letters is made with a dies from QuicKutz called High rise I don´t know the name of the CS I used for that.
The QuicKutz rektangle dies I used to make the frame in black CS .

Inuti använde jag samma alfabetdies och resten är handskrivet. Limmade på några rhinestones.

Det enda som önskades var att det skulle visa den uppskattning de har för honom.

The only request was that it would show the appreciation they have for him.

Här ser ni hur kortbasen ser ut, stängd blir det storlek 15*15cm. CS är Evening Sky från Reprint  och DPn är  Vintage Frost basic från Maja Design. Kanterna distressade med Broken China, Ranger.

Promarkerpennorna i olika blå nyanser använde jag till att färglägga ordet SJUTTIONDE inuti kortet och på dom små prickarna runt sttämpeln ( magbandet).
